A minority notice a mild brothy taste in plain water, and opinions on how well it dissolves in cold drinks are mixed. Coffee, tea, smoothies and yogurt hide it best.

Perfect Desiccated Liver

Organ meat without cooking liver. Four capsules hold 3 g of undefatted, grass-fed Argentinian beef liver, which the label lists as providing 2.8 mg of iron, 969 IU of vitamin A and 1.41 mcg of vitamin B12. A 120-capsule bottle lasts a month at that serving. Capsules can look less than full because nothing is added to bulk them out, and the capsules have a noticeable liver smell, which many buyers read as a sign it’s the real thing. What the research says about collagen

Collagen and liver are nutritious foods, but supplements aren’t magic. The evidence on collagen for skin is mixed. A 2025 meta-analysis of 23 randomized trials found overall improvements in skin hydration and elasticity, but not in the higher-quality or non-industry-funded studies, and other researchers have since challenged parts of that analysis.

The fair summary: collagen is a clean, convenient protein that many people like in their morning coffee. Treat big skin and joint promises with some skepticism.
