A massage chair is a strange thing to buy online. It costs as much as a used car, weighs more than most sofas, and you usually can’t sit in the model you want before you order. Wish Rock Relaxation exists for exactly that problem. It’s a family-run, veteran-owned online store in Golden, Colorado, operating since around 2012, that sells massage chairs and home wellness gear from more than a dozen brands and pairs them with phone, text and chat advice.
The brand list is the draw: Osaki, Titan, Human Touch, Ogawa, Kahuna, Daiwa, Positive Posture, Infinity, JPMedics and Fujiiryoki, plus recliners from American Leather and UltraComfort. Add free shipping in the contiguous US, a match-or-beat price promise and long 0% financing for buyers who qualify, and Wish Rock is a very good place to buy. The one thing to study before you order is the return policy.
Health note: massage chairs aren’t medical devices. If you’re pregnant, have a pacemaker, osteoporosis, blood clots or recent surgery, ask your doctor first.

Advice before you buy
Wish Rock’s best feature is help. You can call or text a “relaxation expert,” use a chair-finder quiz, or work through its buyer’s guide and videos. That matters more than it sounds. Two chairs at the same price can fit a 5’2″ and a 6’3″ user very differently, and the staff can steer you toward roller tracks, leg lengths and recline clearances that suit your body and your room.
Our suggestion: call with your height, weight, doorway width and the space behind where the chair will sit, and ask for two or three options in your budget. Then ask each brand’s return terms in writing before you pick.
Shipping and delivery
Shipping is free to the contiguous United States, and orders typically go out within about 48 hours. Because Wish Rock doesn’t hold inventory, chairs ship straight from the manufacturer. Standard delivery is curbside and most chairs need some assembly. White glove delivery, where a crew carries the chair in, unpacks it and sets it up, costs about $250 extra and adds roughly a week. Hawaii, Alaska and Canada are quoted separately.
If you can’t move a 200-pound box up steps, white glove is worth the money.
Financing and price matching
Wish Rock offers financing through Synchrony’s SatisFi platform, with up to five years at 0% for qualified buyers depending on the item and your credit. Read the offer carefully. Some store financing is “no interest if paid in full,” which the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau explains can charge all the back interest if any balance remains at the end. A true 0% APR plan doesn’t.
The lowest-price promise says Wish Rock will match or beat a verified lower offer on the same chair. Luraco chairs are excluded.

Returns: the part to read twice
Wish Rock’s refund policy says returns are handled case by case under each manufacturer’s rules, and you have 30 days from shipment to request one. The details as of October 2026:
- Restocking fees: typically 15% for brands such as Human Touch and Cozzia (Svago, JPMedics, ErgoTec), and 20% for Johnson Brands such as Synca.
- Shipping both ways: you pay return shipping and the original outbound shipping, even though delivery was free to you.
- UltraComfort: no returns or swaps for change of mind. Damaged chairs are still replaced.
- Cancellations after 48 hours: card processing fees of close to 3% aren’t refunded, even if the order hasn’t shipped.
- Defects: Wish Rock says it works with the manufacturer to repair, replace or exchange the chair.
Wish Rock also says it will help with fees if you swap to a different chair it sells. On a $5,000 chair, though, a 15% restocking fee plus freight can easily top $1,000, so a return should be a last resort.
What owners complain about
Customer feedback on Wish Rock focuses on helpful, personal service and smooth deliveries. The complaints we found are mostly about things outside the store’s direct control, or about the return terms:
- Return costs that surprised buyers who didn’t check the brand’s policy.
- Freight delays and curbside delivery that left heavy boxes outside.
- Assembly that takes two people.
- Manufacturer service waits for warranty repairs.
Wish Rock vs buying direct or from a big-box store

| Returns | Brand rules, often 15% to 20% fee plus freight | Brand rules | Often easier for small items |
Who should skip Wish Rock
Skip it if you need a free, easy return, if you want to sit in a chair before buying (look for a local showroom), or if you live outside the contiguous US and want free delivery. The pros and cons are below.
Our take on Wish Rock Relaxation
Wish Rock is a trustworthy specialist for one of the hardest things to buy online. Use the experts, compare two or three chairs that fit your body and space, get the brand’s return terms in writing, and use the price match. Do that and you’ll likely pay less than elsewhere and end up with the right chair.
